a powerful voice in the decision making process of Georgia
PTA. Attend the first general meeting of the new PTA Century
to lift your voice on important issues, vote on the business
of the organization that includes adopting Georgia PTA resolutions,
approving bylaws amendments. Exciting entertainment, and award
presentations are all apart of the first General Session.
It is the responsibility of each delegate to attend and participate
in all general meetings. |

Ideas Fair and Exhibit Extravaganza** |
| Ever
wonder, “How'd they do that”? Now is your opportunity to find
out! The Great Ideas Fair and Exhibit Extravaganza, hosted
by DeKalb County Council and Georgia PTA will put a kick into
your programs. We begin with a high stepping band leading
our way to the Exhibit Hall where you will explore a world
of diverse ideas. Visit with 100 successful PTA's while they
share their best ideas with you. There will be three hours
of continuous student performances and culinary samples from
around the world. “Great Ideas Fair and Exhibit Extravaganza”
has it all, amazingly talented students from DeKalb County,
foods from many different countries, games and activities
and of course, the “great idea” that was highlighted and submitted
in your priority– all while visiting the vendors. This will
be an exciting evening of music, entertainment, food, games
and lots of fun! Don't miss this event that is included
in your registration fee! |

Rachel's
Challenge Start a Chain Reaction
Lunch-N-Learn;
General Session II |
| Our
featured speaker is Darrell Scott, the father of Rachel Scott
and founder of Rachel's
Challenge. Rachel Scott was the first person killed at
Columbine High School on April 20, 1999, but her shining example
of love and acceptance was not defeated that day. Her acts
of kindness and compassion couple with the contents of her
six diaries have become the foundation for one of the most
life-changing programs in America, Rachel's Challenge. Join
us for this very powerful message and how you “might just
start a chain reaction”.

Featured speakers will include Stacey DeWitt of Connect
With Kids, Chuck Saylors, National PTA President Elect
and Leslie Cushman, Georgia PTA President. During the banquet,
the Georgia PTA 2007 Outstanding Principal, Outstanding Local
Unit PTA/PTSA, Outstanding Educator, Visionary Award and the
Phoebe Apperson Hearst Excellence in Education will be presented.
You will want to attend this inspiring evening.

Lunch-N-Learn will be held in one of the Salons within the
GICC. Food outlets will be provided outside of the Salon.
You may purchase your lunch from one of the outlets and step
into the Salon and hear the presentation. Lunch-N-Learn allows
all delegates the opportunity to hear featured speakers. |

visiting the exhibits. Submitted priority reports chosen as
a great idea will be invited to share their idea with over
1,200 delegates. This will be an amazing opportunity to network.
