Announcements PTA/PTSA Day at the Capitol for Students - Thursday, February 9, 2012 Fulton County Government Center, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Registration for PTSA Day at the Capitol is closed. On-site registration will not be available. PTA Day at the Capitol - Tuesday, February 28, 2012 Join us at 8:30 a.m. at the Fulton County Government Center (141 Pryor Street, Atlanta 30303) for a briefing on legislative issues and advocacy. Dr. John Barge, State Superintendent, will brief us on current and future education plans. Following this session, we will head to the Capitol to see the legislature at work. Lunch with the legislators at the Freight Depot begins at noon.

Family Engagement Building Connections Striving for Excellence, Empowerment, and Equity in Education The First Statewide Family Engagement Conference will be held February 16 -18, 2012 at the Classic Center in Athens Georgia. This event is a collaborative partnership between the Georgia Department of Education, Title I, Part A and the Georgia PTA. We see this event as an opportunity for building stronger partnerships between parents, schools and communities.
