Since 1897, when the PTA was founded as an advocacy for children organization, the PTA has worked to improve the lives of children and their families. For more than a century, PTA volunteers have used their time, energy, experience and knowledge to bring about changes in laws and policies for the benefit of children, speaking for everychild. onevoice.
The needs of children require all PTA members:
  • Speak out on behalf of,
  • Plead for,
  • Intercede,
  • Defend,
  • Raise a voice,
  • Summon,
  • Protect, and
  • Advocate
The first step to becoming an effective advocate is becoming educated on the issues. Our intent is this page will to do just that.
