Business and Voting Information

GENERAL SESSIONS

Business of the organization occurs during general sessions. The general sessions are an opportunity for delegates to directly affect the business of the state PTA, amend bylaws, adopt resolutions and elect Georgia PTA officers for 2009 – 2011. It is the responsibility of each attendee to attend all general sessions. The general sessions are open to everyone whether a voting delegate or a non-voting delegate. We encourage every local unit to send representatives to share your PTA's perspective when we make these important decisions.
