Workshops
Select from over 70 workshops form basic to more experienced levels of PTA leadership, all designed to provide information, tools and resources to help you lead an efficient, effective PTA for your school community.
On your registration form, you MUST list a first and second choice for each workshop; otherwise, if a workshop is full, we reserve the right to make your workshop selection. All workshops will require tickets for entry so you MUST register for workshops which you wish to attend.

FOCUS ON FAMILY ENGAGEMENT WORKSHOPS
Workshops, focusing on parenting and family engagement skills, help parents support and guide their children through some of today’s challenges. Today’s teens are faced with many health and social issues. They have to cope with the challenges of developing bodies and minds, family and school demands, peer and societal pressures, and increasing health concerns.

Georgia PTA Youth Institute 2010
Georgia PTA Youth Institute 2010 is a one day conference for rising 9th-12th graders. The registration fee is $25.00. This includes lunch and materials.
Workshops are designed to assist high school students:
- Explore post secondary education options through GAcollege411
- Become effective advocates in their school and community
- Discuss today’s legislation and its impact on their future
- Learn what they can do in their PTSA and community
